There were some scheduling difficulties in January so this Way In is three weeks from the last one instead of two. Considering how January went, I am pleased with a two pound difference over that span of time. It is witness to the strength of control I did have during that time. Plus, now the 300 pound barrier is broken and I know from past experience that is a huge milestone.
Other things I've noticed:
1 pant size smaller
More comfortable in a car seat
Can get my arms around more of my wife and kids
I can tie my shoes by bending over
Worry less about what I'm going to eat at the next meal (while eating the current meal)
I notice when I am satiated more often
Have more energy and look forward to exercise and (eep!) yoga.
And I find true pride in what I've accomplished.
