So, since I've restarted the hospital program, I've been toying with the idea of posting my progress in real numbers for you all. I decided that if I'm going to do this, I'm gonna go all the way in.
It'll be a simple report. You'll get my real weight, the +/- from the baseline and the prior weigh in. I weigh in every other week, so two to three reports a month.
Also, I'm pretty religious about reporting my workouts at DailyMile.com so, unless something extraordinary happened, I'll let the widget on the blog do my reporting there.
Now I need to decide if I'm gonna post pics. That's a lot tougher still. :)
Baseline: 320 lbs.
***Edit***
After Amanda's comment, you know I can't back down. The only thing missing from her challenge was a double dog dare. :) So, here I am:
(My son wanted to be in it as some sort of comparison. Also, he wanted to show off his letter for Cross Country)
Dude, I posted a picture of myself in a bathing suit (clutching that Diet Coke, gotta love it!) in that More magazine article I linked to in my blog. If I, a female, can post a shot like that under my real name in a magazine website with national-ish exposure... well, just take encouragement, LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm shy about a picture, too. Though I find looking at pictures of myself very motivating.
ReplyDeleteI've been working out every day for 30mins. Today is Day 14. I have a lost a few pounds, but really need to get a pictures. I am just a little afraid of jinxing the loss. Does that make any sense? Lol!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you son on his letter. ;-)
Oh well done!
